Career Readiness is offered through the Chicago Urban League to all middle school and high schoolers.  Career readiness is presented differently depending the group.  Project Ready Middle School will be exposed to a variety of professionals through “Focus on Your Future” who will present their careers to the youth.  Additionally, PR Middle School receive other career focused topics, such as financial basics, leadership and communication.  Project Ready High School will be exposed to topics, such as resume writing, mock interviews, conflict resolution and financial / budget literacy as they not only prepare for internships and college but also a professional career. PR High School also receive “Focus on My Future” presentations as it is critical that our youth are able to see the various professional careers and opportunities that exists.
