SUMMER IMMERSION CAMPS 2022

The Chicago Urban League annually hosts FREE summer enrichment programs for middle school-aged to high school-aged youth. We will provide lunch and bus transportation to the camp. Transportation will be from one of our partner schools. Parents must drop off and pick up their child from the announced location.

About the camps

STEAM: Students will participate in activities using Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math Skills. This camp prepares students for the transition to high school and builds an early foundation for college readiness. Geared towards grades 6th- 8th.

Trade Instruction Program: Youth Trainees will develop the skills needed to obtain and maintain sustainable employment in the construction trade industry. Geared towards high school students.

Young Inventors and Entrepreneurship Program: This program exposes students to various STEM fields & innovation techniques and entrepreneur business concepts. Geared towards high school students.

College Readiness: Students will be provided with the tools, resources, and guidance necessary to complete college. The camp focuses on college admissions, financial aid and scholarship preparation, enrollment, persistence and career success. Geared towards high school juniors and seniors.

Expressive Movement: The goals of the camp are to provide opportunities for exploration of and exposure to the arts while offering a safe, fun, collaborative space for participants to create original work. Geared towards middle school and high school students.
