About the Program
Our Solar Energy Jobs Training is a 150-hour program that combines classroom instruction with hands-on lab activities, providing a well-rounded foundation for entry-level solar industry jobs.
Participants will gain valuable knowledge in solar energy systems, installation techniques, and industry best practices. Upon completion, this certificate program establishes entry-level competency, making graduates highly appealing to employers in the renewable energy sector.

- 2024 Cohort 86.67% of the students were placed in Solar Careers, 30.77% were returning citizens. 15.38% of the students placed in solar jobs became electrical apprentices on the path to become electricians.

- The training consists of 70% hands-on experience and 30% classroom instruction, combining comprehensive lessons with real-world lab exercises for a well-rounded learning experience.

- Virtual Training powered by Interplays Ai offers elective certifications including: First Aid Training, CPR Training AED, Sexual Harassment Training, Introduction to Solar PV Residential Markets 101, Crew Leadership Training.
